Working Dad to death.

I think that Dad enjoyed his Father's Day. Although, all he had time to enjoy on Father's Day was the food because he started working with Chris on the fence at 8 am and only took breaks to eat. I fixed him German choc cake and hotdog fried rice. Yummy! Hey... That is what he wanted. My Nana used to fix that for him on his Birthday every year. So I figured that Father's Day would work just the same.

Chris and I are very thankful that Dad has been here to help. We have been able to get soooooo much accomplished! We are about to work him to death. Today the projects included: finishing the under cabinet lighting in the kitchen, putting together my awesome rocking chairs, installing dimmers on a few lights and preparing the yard for sod tomorrow!! That's right ladies and gentlemen we will have grass tomorrow. What a wonderful day it will be!!

The people building the house beside us backed some equipment into our fence. Can you believe it? We didn't even have it up 24 hours. We had to replace the top 2x4 and will most likely replace all the pickets (in that section). I should have taken a picture if it before Dad and I patched it up.

Fried rice with hotdogs. You fix the fried rice like you normally would. Then add sliced hotdogs. It was actually not bad. I had never had it before.

The contractor on the house that is being built...

It's been a long time since I fixed hot dog fried rice. Nana use to fix it once a month or so when we were growing up. Can't get it in a restraunt but it isn't half bad.
