My Dad has requested some yard and garden pictures be added to the blog and considering his hard work is the reason we have it done I agree. :)
I think the above photo is of cucumbers. Does that sound right to any of you?
These are my Alaskan wild flowers
and these are my giant sunflowers.
The yard looks pretty good. A few brown spots here and there, but all in all it's coming along. I think it is time for us to invest in a lawn mower.
Look at that sky. It looks like another storm might be moving through. It's amazing how fast they come and go here.

Your Alaskan wildflowers are coming in better than mine, that I planted in May! Of course, my dad going out there with the weedeater didn't help things much. He said that he just got the grass, but I'm not so sure.
Yard looks good. The grass looks much better since the last time I saw it. I like the "huge" sunflowers.
Congrats on the baby. I am so excited for you.
Your hard work has really paid off with your yard! It looks GREAT. I bet Jake loves it!
Jake has got to be sooooo happy to finally have a yard of his own. No more wandering down the street and getting shot by neighbors. Yeah!
Yeah, no more crazy neighbors shooting my Jakafer. He IS loving "his" yard. Today he spent 10 minutes laying on his back sunning his tummy. I tried to take a picture (because it truely was a priceless moment) but as soon as the camera came out... He rolled over.
The yard looks great, good luck with cucumbers they arent eazy!
What? They aren't easy. I'm not prepared to actually work on this garden. I just want to watch and eat.
Good luck with the "watch and eat" garden. Let me know if it works, because if it does, I might just do one myself.
Are you going to bring Jake Dog over tomorrow night? He is welcome. We will leave my mongrels outside so as not to stress him out or hurt his leg.
See you tomorrow.
