Birthday report

I had a great Birthday!! Chris and his Dad went fishing during the day while Karen and I enjoyed the Farmers Market, local stores, and the Montana State Fair. The fair was great. Being born during the Gallia Co. Fair and celebrating over 20 years of birthdays there it was only appropriate that I spent the day at a fair here. We had some fair food and some not so good fair lemonade. (Usually fair lemonade rocks, I was disappointed.) We found the horses and were even able to watch some of the 4-H horse show. Good times. I miss being around a barn everyday. The smells, sounds and sights are my kind of heaven. After the fair we came back to the house and I took a great nap. (You can't go wrong on a day you get to nap!!) For dinner we went out to Cattlemen's Supper Club. It is a local hot spot. I ordered a fillet and it was DEE-licious. Because we got home late I didn't get to eat my cake that night. But the next morning…I had some for breakfast!! YUMMY!

Gifts:
I got a new Camera for my birthday and it is wonderful! Thank you Christopher. He even gave me a card. It is a cheesy Mickey card but I love it. (I am a card freak. I love them!! I could spend hours, maybe even days, in Hallmark. Everytime I go to the grocery store I walk over to the card section for a good laugh.) My mom sent me some great cards this year. One has a picture of this old lady (who looks like my Great Gramma Waugh) and she is saying, " You're standing on my boob." (If you knew my Gramma Waugh you would understand the humor in this card!) On the inside it reads: Hope your birthday is painless. I LOVE IT!! The other card is of a little girl standing on a stool feeding three horses out of a bucket. It is very cute and looks like me when I was little. Thanks mom!

Aren't they good?

Karen bought me some pottery at the Market.

Isn't it beautiful?
Thank you, again.

Not only did I get some great gifts for my birthday...Karen and Greg brought out the rest of our wedding gifts. We now have more dishes, glasses and mugs than we know what to do with. It's great!! Some of the gifts I had never seen before. It felt like Christmas...In August. Posted by Picasa

I have your birthday present here with me in Texas. I will mail it soon. Sorry it is late but . . . well, no good excuses. . . it's just late. I DID NOT forget your birthday, though; just late in the delivery. Glad you had fun at the fair but it was no moose dropping festival I bet.

You don't need to get me a present. Knowing you were thinking of me is all I need. Life is GOOD!
