Buckeye win- PRICELESS!!!
What a game. What a game!! I sure am glad that it is over. I was a wreck. The night before, Chris and I went to a rodeo and when we got home I made him listen to me sing Carmen Ohio and The Buckeye Battle Cry about twenty times. Needless to say, the over excited me and singing resulted in me being over tired and tense the next day. I honestly think that I did not sleep a wink. I sung the fight song in my head over and over- ALL night long.
But, when the time came to get out off bed and start getting ready for our guests to arrive I was questioning why we were having people over and was no longer excited. I was nervous and tense!! I didn't know if I could handle a lose. However, when people started showing up- wearing their Buckeye gear. I got pumped again!! Everyone was just as excited as me!! We were all screaming at the TV: OH-IO, Go Bucks and yelling words that I am sure "junior" should not hear! It was great!
When the fans started rushing the field my shoulders immediately began to relax and I could once again breath normally. I remember being there and rushing that field! It brought back some sweet memories. For a second I was even considering finding things to burn. What a great day!!!!!!!!National Championship hear we come!!

The old in-laws were there!! The game was just as good as it probably looked on tv. We have been to hundreds of OSU games, and many OSU-Mich games, but this was by far the most exciting. I took several pictures of the crowd storming the field. If I knew how I would send them to this blog. It was a great day!
By the way, I think I am the anonymous who sent the "u" message. Sorry.
Go Bucks!
That was a game even a house-full of sicklings got excited about (I have strep-throat, Brian has some horrible cold, and Isaac has daycare sniffles and his glands are seriously swollen)! Mom and dad went to the game. Mom said there was a total of 10 minutes sitting time- all over the stadium! I am envious...I remember those days, too...though strangely, I didn't feel the urge to start any fires!
O-H!!!
I know, I know....go ahead, rub it in! Are you going to the big game in AZ? Andrew and I are considering going if Florida makes it there. Home town, big game, what more could you ask for?
Ummm...you might be more a freak than I initially thought! :)
I had no idea that a pending football game would keep you up all night. You're so funny!
Yes, no idea that you were such a fan. So glad they won, since that would apparently would have been a bad party, and junior would have been introduced to even more words that he should not hear.
It wasn't just ANY game. It was OSU vs Michigan- at the Shoe (Ohio Statium)- Number 1 and 2!! Now that is HUGE!!! I know, I know I am a bit of a freak but it comes naturally.
Jame, Just to let your non-OSU friends know. The OSU vs Mich is not just any game, IT is condidered ESPN #1 rivalry of any SPORT!!! To top the all time rilvalry with a National Chanmpionship within reach even makes it more important. But, even in a non-winning season, there are four Stadiums that have over 100,000 seating compacity and three of them are Big 10 schools!! OSU and Michigan are two of the three!! This just states how big football is in Columbus and Ann Arbor!!
Unless you have been to a game, it is hard to understand what a phenomenal event it truly is!!!
And Jamie, YOUR NOT CRAZY, your very normal!!!
I can not believe I just said that!
