Looks like Dell just lost the business of one more customer.
My laptop is still in the pre-production stage. So, I am canceling my order. Since the original order was placed on the 22nd of July I think it is safe to say that I would not get it anytime in the near future. I am going to Best Buy to see what they have and if they don't have what I want, I am ordering a Sony.

Our Dell just died. How sad. I think we're switching to an Apple next time!
I'm in agreement with Andy. We got a Toshiba (on the advice of our IT guy at work) and I love it. Plus when you get it from Best Buy you get Geek Squad customer service (turns out they rock!)
