Can you believe all that food?? And that is just the main course. We also had appetizers (spinach and cheese dip) 
and dessert (pecan and cherry pies with ICE CREAM).I'll have you know that we proudly polished off all the above food in 3 days! Aren't you proud? I think we both gained 5 pounds, but it was SO worth it!!!
Now onto the real meaning of Thanksgiving... We had a WONDERFUL day (really, we had a wonderful 5 days!) It was just Chris, Wilson and I this year and we enjoyed every second. We went to the grocery store on T-day. After the store we cooked, ate, took a nice nap, called our families and ate some more. Then we watched a movie, ate some more and headed to bed. We are truly a blessed family.
Blessed in love. Blessed in health. Blessed in happiness. Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are pulling out your fat jeans too!

Wow! It looks delicious...what is in the rectangular dish on the top? It looks like brown round things with sauce? What is that? In fact, I'd love to know what all the dishes are!

Santa, we're working on that list. Let the elves (how do you spell that?) know what you need, too.
Katie, so glad you asked because I made your corn. Everything else is the standard. Stuffing (in the turkey), turkey, green beans (healthy style), rolls, yams with brown sugar and marshmellows, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and Chris' famous cheese dip.
Not a bad little feast for TWO people... okay Wilson ate too but not anything as good as us. He had the fixings with out the fixings. Know what I mean?
We had dinner just for us, too, but did not polish it all off. I thnk Allen only wanted turkey leftovers, so at least that is all gone. And, the two pies I made A LOT for two people. (especially when I don't like one of them.)
What pies did you make? Sweet potatoe, apple??
