AMAZING

AMAZING! That is how I can sum up yesterday. Thank you so much Chris for a wonderful treat. I loved every second and recommend that you continue to treat me in this way for all future holidays. Spa and jewelry are never a wrong choice. Never.

I decided to hold off on the pedicure. It was too expensive there and I had reached my peak of relaxation. I was afraid that a pedicure would spoil it. I can only get rubbed on for so long. You know?? I get bored and want to get up and run around. It is probably just me... I digress. I had a wonderful massage, wrap and facial. I must say though, that my favorite thing was the wrap. Mostly, because a super hot shower was involved and I was left to nap for 15 minutes at the end. The joys naps bring to me. You always know it is a good day, when a nap happens.

Today Wilson and I went to the long term care facility that I will be working at starting next week (for my practicum). The facility is an Eden facility which means they have cats, dogs, birds and plants everywhere. Wilson had fun meeting everyone and all the animals. We saw 2 dogs and he pointed to them and called them Buck. When we walked in he met a gentleman also named Wilson. I think it made the man's day to know he and Wilson shared a name. It is a really nice facility and I think I will thoroughly enjoy working there. My caseload is majority swallowing disorders with some cognitive. Time to put the classes to work ;)

As promised, here are some pictures from Tuesday:

Wilson waiting on Momma to finish breakfast. Hurry up, I'm hungry. Breakfast served- eggs in a hat and chocolate milk. Mmmm mmm good.
Waiting on Momma to clean up from breakfast. Playing in "Wilson's" drawer. What fun things will mom but in the drawer today? It looks like a credit card. (Thank you, American Express for the approval letter, but I will pass on the card; however, my son does enjoy playing with the fake one.)

Okay, I have only given myself until today to play. I need to work on my thesis while Wilson is still napping (I have already taken a quick 30 minute nap myself- it's good day).

I think I'm the same way with spa stuff. I couldn't do an entire day of spa stuff, but I would certainly enjoy a morning spa. Allen doesn't seem to realize that is what I want, so I guess I'll have to give myself that gift.

You can't call it relaxing after your ass starts hurting from sitting for so many hours!!!

Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself!!

WOW! The spa stuff sounds fantastic. Good job, Chris! I am also with you though...I can only sit and be pampered for so long before I get twitchy. But, I do love the opportunity to feel that way! :)

Wilson is adorable as usual. And, that breakfast looks DELICIOUS. I'm going to have to go make that for dinner!
