The planets must be in line right now because everything that wouldn't normally happen-- happened. I was able to go to the doctor, get a friend to watch Wilson (while I went to the doctor), take Wilson to the doctor, and.... get the Internet fixed. (All our doctor's appointments were after 1, which I thought for sure would cause me to miss the Internet guy. I guess it was a good thing the "anytime between 1-5pm" really meant 5:15...)
Okay, so my mom (her birthday is tomorrow) is going to be here in a couple hours (her flight was delayed) and I can not wait to see her. I am so glad she has mustered up the courage to fly out here. (She is a bit of a flying Pansie.) We only have a few short days here before we head back to Ohio. So, I am on a mission to get well.... FAST! Too much fun is to be had in the next 2 weeks. No time for painful sinus head and ugly cough. No sir. You two are not welcome in my house!! Got it!
I came home from the doctor and went straight to Albertson's to get my inhaler prescription, a sinus rinse (never heard of that before today), some Sudafed, and a candle (to make sure I could still smell).

My lovely birthday presents. Thanks Dad (PapPaw) for the flowers.
The wash/rinse was the most awkward thing I have ever done... well, I have most likely done more awkward things but it was... weird -for lack of a better word. (You squirt water up your nose and watch it come out the other side....) It actually made my head feel a LOT better. The doctor says in 24 hours the inhaler should help with my breathing. I have my fingers crossed that I will be back to my cheery self by Friday. (Just in time for the flight to Ohio.)
Wilson is well. He just has some upper respirtory stuff going on. The best thing for him is to let his little body do its job. (I really like Wilson's doctor but don't care too much for the nurses. When they call me back, especially Patti (please say her name in a smart ass tone- it makes me feel better), they rush threw our conversatiion, are quick to guess my response and not very supportive.)
Here is the best birthday present anyone could ask for:
What a cutie huh? I took this at dinner tonight.I want to leave you with this picture. I took it last week. I was trying to document Wilson's art and was afraid that the dogs would step on the cardboard so I asked them to stay. Wilson quickly turned around and did they same. "Day" he said while pointing at them with confidence.

Have a great week. I'll try and post from Ohio. See many of you soon. Kar, Amber, Ali, and Erin (if you all read this)- I am going to make it to Opal and John's on Saturday. I'll call your cell Kar. Can't wait to meet the little ones.
