1st Day of Practicum

My practicum went well. I am at an elementary school. I really like my supervisor and think that I will definitely enjoy this assignment. I love speech-language pathology! (What a nerd.)

I am so glad that Chris and I are doing everything we are to make our dreams a reality. It is days like this that make me so thankful. I am so proud of all Chris' accomplishments and I am proud of myself (I'm allowed that right?).

Today, I was the person I want to be. I was patient, kind, relaxed, and optimistic. I enjoyed every second of "work", came home to an amazing son, ate a good dinner, walked the dogs (on beautiful sun filled day), played in the back yard, read stories, laughed, played some more in the tub, put the little man to bed, and I am now giving you all an update. The only thing that would make this day better is if my wonderful husband was here to share it. HE, would be the icing on the cake!

I am so lucky to have such a loving and supportive husband! Chris, you are amazing. You are my rock and I am your lady, forever.

I love your new layout! I almost picked this one (I probably would have had I seen how it looked on the blog).

This is a great post! What a great day and a great life!

How awesome to be doing exactly what you want with your life! I am very excited for both of you. But, yeah, having your husband there would be nice. Not too much longer!
