Hopefully we are outta here tomorrow. Wilson and I are scheduled to fly out tomorrow afternoon for Ohio, but who knows with the snow we have and the snow that is now heading for the East. I have well over 20 inches out my front door. It snowed none stop for just about 36 hours. My drive has been shoveled or plowed a total of 5 times and needs to be plowed again in the morning. I have SO much to do but haven't been able to do it. Partly due to the fact that I have spent hours outside shoveling and partly because I can't seem to focus to save my soul. At least we are packed...
The house is a wreck, which bothers me more than you could ever know. I cannot stand coming home to a messy home. I want it fresh and clean. With the floors mopped and vacuum lines still in the carpet.
I am worried that we won't get to the airport because of the weather.
I am not as worried we will get stranded in St Paul (where our layover is) if we make it out.
I am worried that the dogs will freeze at the kennel because the power will go out (I am sure this is not at all likely, or rationale). I really hate taking them to a kennel, even a "Pet Hotel/Daycare" that costs a butt load. I would much rather have someone at my house with them.
We are getting another storm on Sunday. Luckily my neighbor is going to keep the drive plowed.
Good news is my friend is taking us to the airport and picking us up. (Usually I just drive us there, park, and drag 4 bags, a stroller and a kid through 3 parking lots and up to the check-in counter.)
I haven't mailed my Christmas cards. I don't know if I will. The USPS didn't run today (because of the snow) and I didn't get to the post office. I haven't labeled them all yet so I guess it doesn't really matter that the PO was closed. My point is... Don't be heart broken if you don't get a card or if you don't get one until, Jan.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!!

Have a great time in Ohio. I hope that you guys get there safely and smoothly. Merry Christmas!
Don't worry about those Damn carpet lines!!! What did I tell you about that....... Don't make that define you, OCD!! Think about the things that matter, getting home safely to see all your wonderful family and friends! You will be fine. The weather here is not as bad as predicted so you shouldn't have problems at your layover.
See you soon! Love you all!
