Passed the Defense

Now it is official-- I am a soon to be graduting graduate! I presented my research to my committee today, and passed!! I have minor changes to make to my poster, and have been encouraged to present my findings at the WASHA (Washington Speech-Language and Hearing Association) convention in the fall.

I am not too excited, yet. In fact, I am rather flat. I am now consumed with thoughts regarding the move....
  • what needs to be in the car
  • do I have time to purge grap
  • should I put all of our pictures together in one room to ensure they are packed well
  • where will we sleep on thurdsay
  • do I need the air-mattress
  • I better put the og leashes in the car, so they dont get packed
  • I need to cancel our cable/phone/Internet services
  • I better get laundry done
  • blah, blah, blah

Congratulations! I am with Laura...just amazed at all you have accomplished....and all the time being away from Chris, being a mom, renovating houses, etc. You are totally an inspiration. I wish I had just a fraction of your motivation! (Though I feel for you doing the moving crap again...I don't miss that!)
