In the beginning of July Chris’ parents came out for a visit. WE HAD A BALL. We went to San Juan Island. (I'm not talking about Puerto Rico.)San Juan Island is one of the islands that make up the San Juan Isalnds. Ths islands are located just off the coast here. It took us about two hours to get to San Juan from our house, including the ferry ride. If only we had our own boat, we could have been there in under an hour. I digress... We stayed in a town called Friday Harbor. At a bed and breaksfast called the Tucker House.

While we were in the San Juan’s we went on a whale watching tour and saw a TON of whales. In fact, we saw all three residential pods.Wilson was even able to do a little driving.

I haven't had the pleasure of seeing Orcas in the wild and feel very fortunate to have now had the experience. It was really amazing to see.
Our last day together we visited Vancouver, BC. We took the scenic route there, went to Stanley Park, then stopped by the Aquarium. One of the aquarium's belugas had a baby this past June so we were able to see it. It was really cute, but I don't have any pictures of it...
All in all, the visit was wonderful. We enjoyed exploring the NW together, but most of all we enjoyed our time together.

I'm going to be honest here. I am really jealous that you get to live there. I know that isn't a great emotion to have, but I have it. It is so beautiful I could cry! I feel this breathless feeling of exhilaration looking at those photos...my heart is out west.
Sorry. In my own world there. Ahem. Anyway...y'all look great! What a wonderful trip you had!
