January- Chris began working in Vancouver, BC (this actually began in December ’08). I began to collect data for my research on individuals with Alzheimer’s dementia. We finished up the house and prepared to put it on the market.
February- We put the house on the market. Wilson turned two. I finished my data collection and analyzed the data.
March- I defended my research project. We moved to Blaine, WA from Spokane, WA. I interviewed for jobs in Ferndale, WA and Bellingham, WA.
April- We found out we were having a baby.
May- Chris turned 30. I graduated from Washington State with my MA in speech and hearing sciences. My dad came to visit.
June- I started working in Bellingham. We told everyone that we were having a baby.
July- We celebrated 5 years of marriage. Babe and Pops came to visit. We explored the San Juan’s and went on a wonderful whale watching trip. Wilson and I flew to Estes to visit with my dad. Wilson willingly gave up his pacifier, leaving it with Papaw in Estes.
August- We headed to Colorado Springs for our good friend’s wedding. We took our house off the market. We found out we were having a girl. I turned 30. Our house was rented (for 2 years. We had our first rental property glitch (a broken water heater and a flooded basement). Angie and the kids came to visit.
September- Wilson started Spanish bilingual preschool. Wilson and I flew to Ohio to visit family (last week).
October- Chris met us in Ohio and we flew back to Washington (first week).
November- Carol (CiCi) came to visit.
December- Mom came out to visit, Nora was born (12-20), Babe and Pops came to visit.

What a YEAR! Good stuff. Love that Wilson is going to a bilingual preschool. Which they had that around here!
