Chris and Wilson left today for our cousin's wedding in Ohio. Wilson is a ring bearer and Chris is a groomsman. We decided it was best for Nora and I to stay behind. She's just too little in our opinion to fly...
This morning, as Wilson got out of the car at the airport he said, "See ya later, momma. I'm going to the wedding. Jeff and LAURA's wedding. I'm going on THREE (with 3 fingers held high) orplanes!" His excitement was contagious, but part of me still felt a little sad to see him go. He must have known how I felt because just before he walked through the airport doors he looked at me and said with a wave, "I always come back."
It was a proud moment for me to see him dragging his Cars backpack and marching inside the double doors. I was proud to see how confident he was and to see how independent he was attempting to be. He is such a special little boy.
I miss him already.

What a cutie!
Oh how sweet. He is so cute. I'm sure he'll be quite the handsome ring-bearer. I hope Chris has a camera!
When we started getting stuff out for our trip to Alaska we got out Jonathan's rolling Cars backpack Jason said "mine?" So we got him a "packpack" and he was so excited to carry it around.
That is priceless. I can just see him.
Can NOT WAIT to meet little Wilson this weekend. Will miss seeing you, and meeting Nora, but share your opinion that she's a bit too young for such a big trip. Will send hugs back with Chris :)
