It is funny how long a year can seem to pass at different times in your life. Like when you are away from the one you love or are waiting for something or someone.Chris and I have experienced times where the days, weeks, and months seemed to pass at a snails pace. When he was deployed and when we lived apart during graduate school are moments in our history that stand out most.
We are guilty of wishing the days away.
We have also experienced days, weeks, and months that have passed by too fast. Like this year.
We have grown to a family of four.

Our littlest is already three months old. Soon she will be walking and running through our home.

Our oldest child is three years old. He has transformed into a mountain of a boy. He no longer looks like a baby, or toddler and there are moments when it seems we are days away from sending him off to college.We are guilty of wishing the days would slow.
In reality one should never wish any day away because when looking back time always passes by too fast. Each day given has moments and experiences that changes us. They may only change us a little, but if we let them they will always change us for the better.
We are blessed, grateful, and holding on to at least one memory from every day we are given.
And if the day takes a little longer to pass and the hug seems a little tighter; we are okay with that.
