What's for dinner?

Wilson and I just had Thanksgiving Dinner in a Crock Pot, a recipe from www.smashedpeasandcarrots.blogspot.com. It is not something I would typically want to eat during the heat of summer but summer has not stayed in the Pacific NW. (Today's high was maybe 65.)

Regardless of the temperatures, our crock pot dinner was pretty darn wonderful! A combination of comforting and filling. And did I mention EASY to make?

Nora had some peaches, apricots, and plums pureed to her fancy. They were sweet, tart, and messy.

It's miserably hot here. Heat index of 112, I believe. Ashlyn and I shared a sno cone, and I'm wondering if we can have one everyday!
