Wilson and I were looking at a National Geographic Ocean Magazine (that my dad sent for him) and we were on a page with a lot of fish when Wilson asked me what kind of fish they were. So I told him, "this is a school of Maomao fish." He quickly and brilliantly responded with, "I didn't know FISH went to school TOO! What kind of things do they learn at school?"
At dinner Wilson and I were talking about upcoming events. I mentioned my dad visiting, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Nora's birthday, and Christmas. He added that his birthday is next and then he made sure that I knew "Halloween was first". I told him that he was right, Halloween is indeed first and that this year we get to dress up with Papaw. We also talked about him being able to dress up for school during "when I grow up day". He quickly added, "and I get to wear my astronaut costume to church too! I want to get a lollipop again-like last year. BUT I don't want to get sick." I can't believe that he remembers both events from last year, especially getting the flu... He was only TWO!
