Waiting on the freaking painter.
Okay, so when we bought our home we made a check list of things the builder needed to fix. One major thing on the list is our doors: they all need repainted. I called the painter 2 weeks ago. He was out of town. I called the painter last week... He forgot about me. Thanks! The plan was that he would come by Monday night, AKA last night, and take down all the doors. Did he show up?? I think not. Then he told me that he would start painting "very EARLY" on Tuesday. Is he here? What do you think? Would I be writing on the blog if he was? NO!! If you can't come, CALL!! Uhhhh! That really irritates me. It takes what, 2 seconds to call someone? I think I am most "irritated" because I have been waiting since MAY for my doors to be REpainted!! Mr Painter Man why didn't you just do it right the first time!!!!???? Why?

Nothing makes me madder than when people don't do their FREAKING JOBS! And when they have no courtesy. And when they promise things that they know they will not do. What an ass!

He is still not here!! I have called... NO ANSWER. I left messages... No call back.
I know that its the principal now that is bothering you, but you could get a quote from someone else and then make the builder pay that price, then Chris could paint it when he gets home. Bad side, the painter did not learn his lesson, good side you could come out with a bonus of several $100's.
Just a thought!!
A lot of our friends have been in this same predicament and it has taken them over a year to fix a nail hole!!

can't wait for anything. I talked to Jan and she would like to send something out to you with Karen & Greg. Is it too late.
Jan might want to give Karen a call. She could swing it by the store. They are going to start packing up the truck tomorrow.
