Well, not completely but close. Buckeye is a good little guy. So far he; knows his name, sleeps through the night, has figured out where to potty (because I take him there every time he wakes up and soon after he eats/drinks) walks on a leash and LOVES to chew. It's a good thing Jake lets him chew on him... Thank goodness for Jake and chew toys.

When I first saw the top picture of Jake I thought it was Buckeye and said to Andy, "Jamie still has the same pillow and bed covers". Then I read the post and realized that it was Jake. I was about ready to send you some new linens!
Does Buck roll off the couch half asleep like Jake did as a puppy?
If Buckeye is half as good as what Jake was as a puppy you will do just fine!

Yes, I did realize the second picture was Buckeye! They look so much a like. Is Buckeye a Montana native or is he the same blood line as Jake? Do you know if you are coming home for Thanksgiving or Christmas yet? I think we will be home for Christmas but with Andy's folks for Thanksgiving.

Jame, I was looking over some of our old blogs and noticed that I never answered your question regarding Snubaing. It is a cross between scuba diving and snorkling. You have a tank and mask like you are scuba diving but your tank floats about 15-20 feet above you in a raft. It is a beginner course to scuba diving without having to do all the certification. It was really fun. We both want to go scuba diving now. So when ever you get a chance we all need to go!!
He is really cute. Can't wait to meet him. Buckeye....geez, I guess I didn't quite understand the intensity of your allegiance to Ohio State until now. Very cute. Jason wanted a dog named Huck, for Huckleberry, but we got a Buddy instead.
It was so smart to get Jake a puppy! Ruthie could definitely use more playtime, and she's afraid of Isaac. Isaac doesn't always pet softly, and I think Ruth is afraid she'll hurt him.
No Buck is not from the same people we got Jake from. I wish we could have gotten a puppy from them. Unfortunatly they are no longer in the dog market. (They told my mom a few months back that they are now spending their time enjoying grandkids.)
Buck is actually from LA. The breeders moved here about 4 months ago. He is full blooded but we got him for a steal because the breeders didn't see which of their studs breed his mom. So he doesn't have papers. All three of the studs are beautiful and each have great bloodlines (one is from the Atta Boy line and the others have won field trials.) The papers don't matter to us because we will get him fixed so it all worked out.
We are planning on being Christmas, see you then!!
