Literally! This past weekend I started to feel a little under the weather. On Sunday and Monday I slept for 12 hours (or more) and had to force myself to get out of bed each morning. Tuesday I was a little better. My body ached less and I just seemed to be more tired than anything else. I can handle tired. Then Wednesday came… People who I normally don’t speak to at work were asking me if I was okay (a sure sign that you look like death). I was white as a ghost, tired, achy and thought that I might have had a slight fever. I ended up working through my lunch to get all my kiddos seen and headed home early. I went to bed by 8:30 but slept terribly. (I SO don’t want to be sick... Who does?) This morning I had a definite fever. My shirt was soaked with sweat although I was still freezing. I decided to call in- thinking that a few more hours of sleep would do the trick. At around 7:15 I woke up and began to throw up. YUCK! I pulled it together and went back to bed. Most of my day has consisted of lying on the couch and eating crackers & applesauce. I don’t have time for this: I have to go have my glucose test done tomorrow, one more week of classes, 2 huge projects due on Monday and Tuesday, finals to take the week after, and classes all weekend (Friday night and all day Saturday). Plus, a grocery store run is in serious need. I fixed pancakes last night for dinner because that was all I had that either a. wasn't turkey or b. only needed water to fix.
Send me some healthy thoughts because being sick does not fit into my plans!!! Hope you are all well and avoiding the flu bug (or whatever I may have).

Hope you get feeling better. It sucks being sick even more when you're pregnant. Get some much needed rest!
Okay. Time to send someone ELSE to the grocery store...just sayin'.
I am so sorry you are sick. I hope you get better soon, but I hope you can rest and RELAX in the meantime. Freak girl needs to SLOW DOWN! :)
Jamie, I'm very sorry to hear that you are sick, but that it what happens when you work to hard instead of travel the world. Sounds like you should have been riding a camel with me in the dessert in Morocco. I'm sure you wouldn't have been cold there. To bad I don't know how to send you pictures from this computer I am using at Mildenhall or I'm sure I could put a smile on your face. Other than being sick I hope everything else is going OK. I thought about you a couple of days ago when I drove past New Market on the bus. I am just waiting now to try and get a plane back to the US before hopefully heading towards the other side of the world. Tell Smitty I say hello and I hope you begin feeling better.
Love
Ryan
