Like a rock...

Howdy ya'll. Life's been good, crazy but good. As you've read, we have sold the house in Montana and have bought a home in Spokane. I have been crazy busy with things at our home in MT: inspections, appraisals and the like. I am also trying to finalize lending options on the house in Spokane and set up inspections and an appraisal on that home. Man, I am tired just typing it.Our new home is a 1950's brick rancher in a GREAT location. It's about 5 miles from downtown Spokane and less than 1 mile from a HUGE park. It is also close to another really nice park, on the city bus route, and down the street from a school.

The house needs some updating but we are excited about making the improvements. It has has 2 bedrooms up and 2 bedrooms down, 1 full bath up and 1 full bath down, a family room with a fireplace and and formal dining area upstairs, a large room with a second fireplace downstairs, lots of storage, a 2 car ATTACHED garage (that was hard to find close to downtown) and a YARD! (also, hard to find close to town). We plan on adding a HUGE master bath/walk in closet and updating the kitchen from top to bottom. We are talking about the works here people...new everything. It is going to be awesome!! We think the house has all wood floors, we'll see when we rip up the carpet, so if we are right we are going to be refinishing them.

I know what you are thinking... How are you going to fix this house up and why would you buy a house that needs fixing up with Chris in Portland? Well folks it is in a great location, it's built like a rock and we think it is a great investment. Plus, my Dad is going to come and help us. We plan fixing the upstairs first. Hopefully, getting it completed by the time school starts for me and then moving to the basement.

That is it for now. I need to sleep. Ciao.

You just never have enough to do, huh? Not only are you going to live in another state from your husband, go to school, and take care of Wilson, but you must add another task and redo a home. Crazy people! Don't forget to relax sometime in there. Miss ya.

Wow. Y'all must be YOUNG. You have WAY more energy than I could ever muster up. That exhausts me just reading about it!

You guys are super-human! I'm proud of you!

I agree with Ang and Katie. Geeze, you guys are animals! But that's why we love you.

Wes told me you called the other day. I'll be in Texas for a couple more weeks but really want to chat.
