Our trip to Yellowstone with Rob and the boys (Wilson, Jake and Buckeye) was great. We ended up staying in Big Sky Montana both nights. Travel with Wilson is definitely getting easier. He is really a sport. He doesn't mind his car seat too much and enjoys having me sing silly songs to him. Who wouldn't like my singing?? Just kidding- I am really a terrible singer, so I'd say that only children can handle my voice because I sound like someone from the American Idol outtakes.I imagine that travel with Wilson will continue to have its ups and down. He will go from hating being strapped in- to hating being in the back- to hating riding with his dorky parents.
Yellowstone was really beautiful but it made me miss Alaska. Alaska is such a beautiful state, and it has so much to offer in the form of wildlife and natural beauty, that it makes parks in the lower 48 seem less impressive. I still thoroughly enjoyed Yellowstone but I will say that seeing the park made me appreciate Alaska more.
I finally got to see Old Faithful, which was neat. Chris and Rob (mostly Chris) tried to tell me that it was under maintenance and we couldn't go and see it. Don't worry I didn't fall for it!!

Bison were all over the park. I am still amazed at how many we saw. They were everywhere, and not is small numbers either.
We didn't see any bear which was a definite bummer for Rob but did see lots of Elk and Bald Eagles.
We didn't see any bear which was a definite bummer for Rob but did see lots of Elk and Bald Eagles. The dogs were really good too! Buckeye had his first hotel experience and didn't chew a thing!! Jake is a serious pro at the travel thing so there is no surprise that he did well.
I'll leave you with a picture of Wilson and his Uncle Rob. Thanks for coming out Rob, we can't wait to see you again when we go to Ohio.

That is great that he travels well. You lucked out! I love Yellowstone. Those pictures bring back great memories! However, I do agree about the Alaska comparison (i.e. there IS no comparison).
Thank you guys for having me -- I had a great time. I cannot wait to catch up back in Ohio, however, I can say that without the Indians, it may make it a little less exciting!
