8 Months old (Yesterday)

It is hard to believe. Isn't it? Wilson is indeed 8 months old. And just in the past two days it seems as though he has changed from baby to little boy. We have started eating "real" food (i.e. cut up bananas and fruit/veggie puffs) and he is seconds, SECONDS, away from crawling.

What an expression...

Yesterday he started picking his hands up and down when he is on his knees. He has been rocking back and forth for a few weeks now but the arm movement is new. It is SO funny because he will rock and grab (my lingo for his new movement) then he will fall down and make some silly expression (like the picture above) and roll to get what he wants.

I gotta run. I need to get Wilson in the tub before it gets too late. Hope you enjoy the pictures. More to come....soon.

Those pictures are the best! Your post made me think of you and Chris working with Ashlyn on crawling while you were staying with us. Their funny expressions when they are learning something new are great!

Those photos are GREAT. He is at the CUTEST age. I really, REALLY love the 8 to 9 month age! Enjoy that little guy.... (I know you are!)

It is so hard to believe how fast time has flown. From this day on, he will be changing on a DAILY basis. Yesterday, Salem woke up from nap, and I SWEAR she had grown over a foot. Okay, maybe not that much, but she looked way bigger than she was when I put her down. It makes me sad to think that my little baby is getting to be so big.

I love it when they learn something new. It's so neat to see how they change and develop so quickly. Happy 8 months, Wilson.
