San Diego Fires

Don't worry Chris is fine. He did not go IN to work today because they have evacuated most of northern San Diego. As of 1:30 (our time) his hotel has not been evacuated. They are just waiting to see...
I found some information on the fires form the USA Today online. It stated that, "...More than a dozen wildfires, whipped by strong desert winds, raged Monday in a region stretching from north of Los Angeles to the Mexican border. At least one person has been killed and 250,000 people were ordered evacuated from the San Diego area. A pair of wildfires consumed 128 homes in the mountain resort area of Lake Arrowhead, in the San Bernardino National Forest east of Los Angeles..."
Chris said that the fires "are worse than anything we have ever seen". I hope things start to get contained here soon...
***Update****
Chris has been evacuated from his hotel. He is moving closer to the project, which I believe is outside of San Diego.

I'm glad to hear that Chris is doing okay. It is sad to hear about all of the people who are having to leave their homes and who are losing them.

GEEEEZ! Those photos are just incredible and SCARY. I'm pretty sure California is a place I'd never want to live. They seem to have more problems than most places! I am glad Chris is okay!
