mind all the lower case. my shift key is gone and i don't have the energy to use the other one.
yesterday 2 of my friends came over and we worked for 6 solid hours on a presentation. we took a break for dinner and i took a break to give wilson his bath and put him in bed. everyone was here for about 8 hours. so a long time. anyway you may be able to see where this is going.... the presentation was not saved. i hit ctrl + s like a hundred times but apparently it didn't save because when i double checked my sent email i noticed i sent our old version of the presentation. needless-to-say, i stayed up until 1:30 redoing the presentation. i was so tired that i slept in my clothes and on a bed without sheets. (they were drying in the dryer.)
so learn from my idiotic mistake and listen to this handy hint for better living: save everything five ways and in five places. never let your group members leave with out double checking your work and saving the info to their memory sticks. never.
i told you the slow down would not last long. now i have to finish this project, start another group project and begin studying for midterms. ahhhhh

THAT SUCKS!!!! And that's all I have to say about that.
Oh no. No no NOOOO. That might just be one of the worst feelings in the WORLD! I get upset when I lose a little blog post...I can't imagine losing 8 hours of work. Awful!! How many more semesters do you have to do this stuff???
Oh, I'm so sorry. I had a similar experience as an undergrad. One of my papers just was scrambled from the disk. It was over 30 pages! Fortunately, I did have a previous hard copy, but I stayed up ALL NIGHT to finish it. I am sure that it would have been tougher to lose a group project.
