Mashed potatoes and laundry

Here are some fun pictures from today. Wilson is back to his normal rotten self and we are loving every second. He enjoyed some scrumpish (sp?) mashed potatoes for dinner!!

Afterwards he helped his Papaw with laundry. They do this together everyday. It is adorable. Papaw asks Wilson to help with the laundry and Wilson comes marching in the laundry room; heading straight for the washer. He then proceeds to grab everything and toss it on the floor or at Papaw, depending on how fast Papaw is at putting the clothes in the dryer.

Tonight Wilson was also given the job of feeding the dogs. It was really cute. I gave him a cup with a few pieces of dog food. (I also had a full cup.) We walked together outside, asked the dogs to sit (Wilson pointed to Buck and Jake very seriously), then poured the food in the bowls. Wilson was so proud. I think we may have found another chore for him...

Darling! I love that he is so proud of helping! Try to remember this one day when he's a surly teenager refusing to do anything (not that I think he will actually be surly, but just in case!)

Little chores that they can do here and there to help out are wonderful!!!!

I love homemade mashed potatoes! Now I have to make some for dinner!

I love that you get him involved in helping. I try to get my kids involved. However, they make such a mess, that I end up not getting them involved often enough. It's great to see moms who have more patience than I do!
