End of July in Estes

I didn't post much of our trip to Estes before so I am updating now...

We had fun even though it was in the 40's and raining...


We were able to help dad with the b&b and managed to get out and explore the area a little too.

We went to an equine hunter jumper show. LOVED it! There were tons of horses from all over the country. TX, FL, VA-- you name it. Not many spectators attended, but there should have been.

There is nothing that relaxes me more than the smell of horses and the sound of their hooves on the ground. Total peace.

We drove to this amazing church, St. Catherine Chapel. It was built in the 1930's.

Wilson enjoyed some hot tub time.

and we took a drive through the Rockie Mountain National Park. It had been rainy and very cloudy, but it cleared and revealed this amazing rainbow.

We stopped for some pictures and explored the land a little. Good quality time with dad/papaw.
