Inspired

Yes, I have been inspired. How? What have I been inspired to do?

Thanks to Katie I plan on getting all of our Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving. It makes perfecet since. I have a baby due on Christmas day. I will obviously be busy. If she comes before Christmas I will be busy with a newborn. If she comes on Christmas or later I will be busy waddling around the house praying she hurries up...

I don't know if this is a realistic goal. Considering we are weeks away from Thanksgiving and I have a lot to catch up on with work and the house because I was sick all last week. (Why am I blogging ?) Plus, I need to begin consuming myself with the normal prebaby purging and cleaning. You know- throwing out old clothes and scrubbing the floors, walls, doors, cars, and...

We have the other prebaby things to do as well (like set up the crib--yadda, yadda) but I am not too worried about those things. This is not our first rodeo. We will be alright and she will be just fine if all she has to wear is blue. She will be fine if the crib isn't up and the mobile isn't working.

All that she needs is:
A loving family-- check.
Milk- I will have this one covered-- check.
Clothes-- check.
Diapers-- we'll get them on the way home.
Pack-n-play-- That can be set up in seconds-- check.

Sothe bottom line is, if you get a present before Christmas I met my goal. HOORAY!
If you don't get your present... I most likely changed my goal date.

Think of it like a pregnancy due date. The date is there, but the baby (gift) may arrive weeks before or weeks after. Either way it is still pretty great!

You can do it!!! Just imagine a calm, (though sleep-deprived) Christmas only worrying about your family and not gifts, etc! :)
