B.C. exploration: Ross Lake- Hope B.C.

June 5, 2010

Chris and I planned a scouting trip, as he calls it, up to Hope, B.C. to look at a lake that is in both the US and BC. We have been looking at going to the lake via the US side but the only way to enter the lake with your own boat is through BC. Not that we have our own boat... It is just something we are thinking about...
The area is beautiful.

I remember driving through Hope when we were moving to MT from AK. Then I was amazed at its beauty. I can’t believe that four years later beautiful British Columbia is in our backyard.

The Lake (Ross Lake) is not completely filled yet.  Locals say that the water level won’t be high enough to boat until July.

It was truly one of the most unique and beautiful things I have ever seen.

We saw a bear.

Lots of deer.

And managed to practice some of our yoga skills…

We had an amazing day scouting. It was worth the hour of crying on the way home.  Thank you, Nora Lynn.
