Set and Rise

As the sun sets I fill your tub to wash away your dirt. We laugh as you splash about.
Then you fill my heart with joy as we read a book and snuggle.
Twinkle, twinkle little star echos in the air as little green stars shine on your walls.
Night, night Little One.

You ask questions and ask to learn more as we read.
My heart skips a beat when you tell me good night like a big boy as ask God to help you be a big boy and be better. 

Some mornings I have to wake her, as she has slept hard.
But when she rises there is not a person, or animal, in this house that is not blessed with a smile.
