11 months old

Wilson is now 11 months old and such a delight!! His latest joys are:

  • Acting like a dog. Seriously. He crawls around a thousand miles an minute and pants. It's hilarious!

  • Finding his pacifiers. He throws them out of his crib during the night and before he goes to bed I ask him where his pacifiers are. He responds by crawling behind the crib and bringing them to me. One by one. Yesterday, he had one in his mouth and one in each hand.

  • Climbing the stairs as fast as e can.

  • Cruising (walking with the assistance of the sofa, wall or table)

  • Playing chase

  • Telling Buck to leave the kitchen (When he is in his highchair if he sees Buckeye come in the kitchen he points to the living room and says Buck. Talk about cute!).

Wilson currently weighs 25 pounds and measures 32 inches tall.

In these pictures Wilson is modeling the first stage of swallowing for me.

I have to do a community presentation on swallowing disorders and Wilson is my normal swallow model.

Everything else going well here. We had our final inspection on the house and are done with the major renovations. We only have some cosmetic things to finish (staining the banister, hanging pictures, painting, etc.) Hallelujah! My dad has worked his tail off. The house really looks awesome! I’ll post some pictures…. Someday. Soon. I hope.

Have a good week.

I think I am used to seeing my BIG little boy cause I forget (when people comment about his sixe) that he is not the "typical" size of an 11 month-old. I see other babies his age and think to myself, why are the so little?

Not that it is wrong taht they are little. It just is so not what I am used to.

Our next baby will be "typical" and I will be freaking out because he will on weigh 18 pounds at seven months and not 22.

How is your little man? I love your pictures!

Lola, how about emailing us some belly shots of #2?
