Birthday Boy

At school, the Thursday before your day, you celebrated with your friends. You wanted me to bring cupcakes from Katie's Cupcakes. Your friends had chocolate mini cupcakes with green icing but you had chocolate on chocolate, per your request.

For your actual birthday you wanted strawberries to be part of your cake. I tried to convince you that you wanted yellow cake with chocolate icing (my favorite) but you ending up winning with a white and chocolate two layer cake, strawberry filling, and chocolate icing.

You helped me make the birthday menu for your day:
breakfast= chocolate chip pancakes with strawberries and bananas on top and OJ
lunch= turkey sandwich and fruit (more strawberries and bananas)
dinner= spaghetti and cake.

After breakfast you opened gifts. Thank you everyone who sent him something, he loved everything!

Then Daddy went to work and we went on a walk with your new bike. Throughout the day we had many birthday calls. For dinner we had some friends (the Truemper's) over and you loved having them be part of your day. You especially loved the rocket launcher they got you.
