CiCi's Visit

Wilson's CiCi came to visit last weekend and we had a wonderful time. On Friday we went to Coeur dA'lene,ID to see the lake, eat some yummy Hudson Hamburgers, do a little shopping, and play at the huge park. Wilson had a good time, and unlike his last Hudson burger experience (it was last May when he had all those sores in his mouth) he ate more burger than me. Okay, that is a stretch. I had a double and he had a single. So I should have said he ate more than CiCi.

The next day we went to the Riverside State Park and walked down to "our" spot on the river. I seem to like torturing my family with hikes up hill. I made Carol do it in flip flops. (She's a Floridian she handled it well.)
On Carol's last day it turned cold. So, we went to the Children's museum and mall. It was fun. Wilson mostly ran from station to station at the museum. With his favorite one being the air tube ball sucker. (Hey, I don't know what to call it.) At the mall, Carol and I day dreamed of shoes we both can't afford, but would love to have. ($375 is just too much.) And we also hit up the Gap. Now I remember why I like that store: great deals and cute clothes. You just can't go wrong. (Wait til you see Wilson in his plaid patch blazer. It is adorable.)

The picture below is one of my favorite Wilson pictures. He is growing up so fast and this picture captures that for me. His little blazer, Chuck Taylor's, Levi jeans, and BMX bike shirt. Which, by the way, Wilson picked everything out (with the exception of the blazer).

Taking this picture was too fun. I asked him to go stand by the bushes so I could take a picture and he ran over, sat down, and said "cheezzz". Then, he ran over to another bush and did the same. He did it at about 5 different places in the yard until I told him we were done. He is my kid alright.

Thanks for coming out Carol. I loved our late night talks and know that Wilson loved all his kisses!

I love that picture of him. And, I love his sneakers! I want a boy! Alas, it'll never happen.
